About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Athens. This position is responsible for leading complex cybersecurity and defense projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure seamless communication among partners and executive stakeholders, and drive delivery excellence across engineering, operations, and governance functions.

This role requires a professional who combines strong technical understanding with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, ensuring that every project aligns with Logstail’s standards of quality, integrity, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define detailed project work plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, product, and executive management.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all project partners and stakeholders, including technical and executive audiences.
  • Support and coordinate core cybersecurity areas such as Incident Management, Security Engineering, Architecture, Vulnerability Research, and GRC.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead project reporting: prepare proposals, progress reports, deliverables, and executive summaries.
  • Ensure alignment and compatibility between individual projects and the broader program portfolio.
  • Provide guidance for incident, problem, and change management activities as part of continuous service improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity project management, ideally within defense, critical infrastructure, or SaaS environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder cybersecurity projects through the full lifecycle.
  • Strong command of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile frameworks).
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, resource planning, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in English (additional European languages such as French or Dutch are a plus).
  • Experience with Network Security design and architecture, Application Security, or Cloud/SaaS models is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and balance competing priorities effectively.
  • European citizenship and eligibility to pass security and background checks.
  • Fulfilled military service (for male candidates).
