About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and high-integrity Full Stack Security Engineer to join our team. This role is central to designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable applications across the full technology stack. The position requires close collaboration with development teams, product managers, and data scientists to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring compliance, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement client-side and server-side architecture.
  • Build responsive front-end applications with modern frameworks and appealing visual design.
  • Develop and maintain robust databases, applications, and APIs.
  • Write, test, debug, and optimize software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement security measures and data protection settings.
  • Manage security projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Define and enforce compliance rules, audit requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Create and adapt custom rules, modifications, and reports.
  • Enhance pipeline processes for efficient data analysis and consistent data quality.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and analysts to deliver secure and effective solutions.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Security Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s or professional certifications in cybersecurity are an asset).
  • Strong programming experience in front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (Node.js preferred).
  • Experience with at least one MV* framework (React preferred; Angular or Vue also acceptable).
  • Solid knowledge of microservices, service-oriented frameworks, and REST APIs.
  • Proven experience in enterprise-grade software development.
  • Proficiency with Git and cloud platforms (GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments, source control, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong background in debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Fulfilled military service (for male candidates in Greece).
